1. Controller and contacts
PatchPeek is developed and published by Ciuskate.
Privacy: ciuskate.apps@gmail.com
Technical support: support.ciuskate@gmail.com
2. Summary
PatchPeek requires no registration and contains no advertising, analytics, profiling or tracking technologies. Ciuskate does not operate a server that receives searches, games or last-played dates.
The game name and selected App ID are sent directly to the Steam services needed to provide the requested feature. The last-played date is used on the device to filter the received timeline.
3. Data stored on the device
To make the app faster, PatchPeek may store only the following on the device:
- up to five recent games, including their names and Steam App IDs;
- the optional last-played date associated with each game;
- the selected interface language.
This information is not sent to Ciuskate, synchronized between devices, or used for advertising or analytics. Loaded posts and metadata remain temporarily in memory and are deleted when the app closes.
4. Searches and Steam services
When you use an online feature, PatchPeek sends HTTPS requests directly to public services operated by Valve Corporation:
- the search text is sent to the Steam storefront to find games;
- the selected App ID is sent to retrieve metadata, cover art, Steam Deck compatibility and announcements published by the developer;
- cover images are loaded from the official CDNs identified by Steam.
As with any Internet communication, Valve and its CDNs receive the normal technical data required for the connection, including the IP address and request headers. Ciuskate does not receive, read or retain this data. Valve controls its processing; see the Steam Privacy Policy.
PatchPeek uses returned data only to display the requested result. It does not access the user’s Steam account, library, wishlist, credentials or purchases.
5. Connection, links and security
The app reads only the general connection status to show offline mode and avoid requests that would fail. It does not read the Wi-Fi network name, location or device IP address.
Steam posts are converted to native text components: PatchPeek preserves useful paragraphs and lists but does not execute received HTML, scripts or embedded content. Voluntarily opening a Steam page or post transfers navigation to the selected browser or service, under its own terms.
6. Retention, deletion and rights
Recent games and preferences remain on the device until they are removed in the app, the app’s data is cleared, or PatchPeek is uninstalled. Because Ciuskate has no remote copy, it cannot retrieve or erase them remotely.
If you voluntarily contact support, Ciuskate and the email provider receive normal message data, including the sender address and anything you choose to write. Messages are retained only as long as needed to reply, handle follow-up and protect the service. You may request access or deletion at ciuskate.apps@gmail.com.
7. No mandatory general consent
PatchPeek does not require acceptance of this policy on first launch. Online requests occur only when you search for or select a game; without a connection, content already on screen remains available while the app stays open.
8. Policy changes
This page will be updated if the app’s features, external services or processing practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
